Broadly speaking, the short words are the best, and the old words best of all.

Separating Palin Fact from Palin Fiction

advertisement

So this is the complete list of Palin Rumors, at least as it stands about midnight Mountain Time on September 7, 2008. (The link will take you back to the complete and current list on my blog Explorations.) I make a point of the time because the list has been growing by around seven rumors a day; there's at least one in my queue that I haven't been able to completely track down yet.

Warning: some parts of this are jokes. On purpose.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Rumor seems to have dominated the conversation regarding Palin, so this should be a useful list/resource.

I have found her to be very refreshing, although I don't share her views on many key issues. She has my respect and admiration. I watch her debate on CSPAN last night during the Alaska governor's election debate on Nov 2006: she did very well and held her own (if not much better) against the incumbent.

aRTieA- I agree with you somewhat. I too find her refreshing, to the point I want her in the White House. I believe I would listen to more Politics if it were coming from the "Awesome Two". I find them interesting, knowledgeable, believeable and Just easy to listen to. Lets take all the way to Washington!!!!!!!

I like her a lot, sadly, I am not so sure about McCain any more. I like the image. I'm not sure about the reality. I like what she represents. She is a cool picture of the America that I like to believe in. Actually, the more I learn, the more I am convinced of her integrity, but I'm not 100% convinced yet. I can't trust a politician. That's part of what I like about her- she is so many things besides politician.
